Arctic Infra signs new deal with LKAB
Arctic Infra is set to do construction work for LKAB to ensure their mining operations during the renovation of an ore elevator called “Alliansspelet”. The project includes concrete, bridge, and embankment work. Work begins immediately.
Allianspelet is an elevator to transport the ore from underground, it will be revovated 2021. In the meantime, a storage load is required for LKAB to be able to transport the ore with trucks. Arctic Infra will build and construct a concrete bridge that can carry heavy trucks to a dump point.
- We are happy to get to work with LKAB and be a part of securing a continued mining operation. Our mission is to deliver efficient, high quality work. It fits our organization very well, says Mikael Johansson, CEO at Arctic Infra.
- This is a project that requires accurate planning from everyone, considering that you have two very important deadlines to keep. Several of our business areas will be involved and we will ensure that high quality is delivered. From purchase to construction work, we are well prepared, says David Wallin, Work Manager at Arctic Infra.
The project is the second in a short time that Arctic Infra has been assigned by LKAB.
The work begins immediately and is expected to be done December 2020.
